In South Africa we identify community partners, and support and train them as they work to protect, nurture and enrich the lives of children in their community.
Nelson Mandela Children's Fund Partners are working:
to get disabled children into school,
to identify and protect children who are vulnerable having lost parents to the HIV/Aids pandemic,
to help the most vulnerable children who are refugees, or displaced from their families as a result of poverty and family breakdown
to help young people to develop skills for work and the confidence to actively contribute to the future of their community and country.
This work takes place across all nine provinces of South Africa, and links into national and provincial government initiatives to ensure maximum impact for communities. For more detail on the 5 programmes and our partners go to Our Work
