Nelson Mandela Children's Fund in South Africa is now a thriving voluntary organisation that has the welfare and future of children at its heart - "to change the way society treats its children and youth".
To do this successfully requires long term investment in the communities where children live.
It is not enough just to grant generously -- we need to work strategically with our partners to realise their vision for the future of their community.
We aim to develop their planning management and entrepreneurial skills, and to ensure that they have the funds to bring their plans to life.
