Celebrity Cricket Match

Date: 19th Sep 2010

The world famous Bunbury celebrity cricket team played a team of King's College Junior School parents on Sunday September 19th at Wimbledon Cricket Club.

The Bunbury team led by Dr David English included Devon Malcolm, Rudolph Walker from Eastenders, Andy Clark, David Nash, Lloyd Honeygan and Fraser Hines. The Bunburys won the match but it was a close run thing!

An auction and raffle kicked the fundraising drive off well and KCJS families also enjoyed the fun of a bouncy castle, ice cream and the chance to throw wet sponges at some brave members of the teaching staff!

King's College Junior School are taking a cricket team to tour South Africa. In the run up to the tour the whole school gets behind fundraising with a generous donation being made to the Nelson Mandela Children's Fund UK.

While in South Africa the boys and teachers will visit an NMCF funded project and see how money is spent.
