ANNUAL FINANCIAL ASHES CHARITY CRICKET TOURNAMENT & GALA
DINNER
THURSDAY

The Annual Financial Ashes tournament between teams representing England,
Australia and South Africa will be taking place at the HAC Ground
on Thursday 31st July. Last year, we once again raised over
£24,000. This year the money raised will be split between: The
National Kidney Research Fund UK, The
St Vincent de Paul Society, Australia and The
Nelson Mandela Children's Fund, South Africa.
Once again, the Professional Cricketers' Association
have kindly agreed to support us. With their help, we will have
a celebrity cricketer playing for each team. Please check the
website for names to be confirmed.
The cricket will commence at 11am, with beer and wine being
sold for charity throughout the day.
There will be a barbecue lunch available between 12noon and
2pm. In the evening, there will be a gala dinner, with celebrity
guest speaker, Dermot Reeve, and an auction. There will also
be a raffle running throughout the event.
There is no charge for watching the cricket during the day,
but due to security at the venue, we do ask you to let us know
if you think you may attend.
