The Annual Gala Dinner is a celebration of the work of the Nelson Mandela Children's Fund and an opportunity to celebrate Mr Mandela's continuing concern for the welfare and development of children and young people.

As like last year, the dinner was completely sold out and the programme for the evening included a champagne reception, a 3 course gourmet dinner with wine and wonderful entertainment throughout the evening!

This year's very special entertainment included electrifying performances from Britain's Got Talent 2008 Winner, George Sampson and Natalie Okri from Britain's Got Talent 2009, Andy Abraham from The X Factor and a totally original dance performance from "ZooNation."

During the evening a fantastic amount was raised for NMCF UK due to the generous support for the raffle and silent auction. Prizes available this year included a book signed by Nelson Mandela, a 3x4ft chocolate portrait of Nelson Mandela, exclusive cricketing merchandise and signed Pele photographs.
