news / Volunteers Needed for Children's Day Collections!

Organised by the International Children's Trust, the Children's Day Collections are an excellent opportunity to highlight the plight of disadvantaged children across the world and raise much needed funds for our important work.

On Saturday 18th April, NMCF UK volunteers kindly took part in the street collections, throughout various locations in London.

Altogether our volunteers helped raise a fantastic amount of nearly £700!
This money provides vital support in our quest to better the lives of the most underprivileged children and young people.

Nelson Mandela Children's Fund UK is reliant upon volunteers to assist us and we are looking for volunteers -and their friends!- who are over 16 and able to help out for a couple of hours, on Saturday 26th September, from 10am-4pm.

Everyone attending as a volunteer for NMCF UK will be provided with refreshments and a small goodie bag to show our appreciation for your help.
