news / Runners Wanted!

11th Jul 2010
We have 10 places in the British 10K run in London on Sunday 11th July and are looking for runners to help us raise funds for the work of the Nelson Mandela Children's Fund.

2010 marks the tenth anniversary of the nation's favourite London 10K road race, the ASICS British 10K London Run. Over the years the race has played host to some of the world's greatest athletes and raised millions of pounds for hundreds of charities and good causes through the efforts of runners from all walks of life raising sponsorship to run the race.

The race route is undoubtedly the most historic and sporting 10K route in the UK, running through the heart of historic London, passing many of London's world famous and iconic sights. These include:-

• Wellington Arch at Hyde Park Corner
• St. James's Palace
• Trafalgar Square
• St. Paul's Cathedral
• London Eye,
• Big Ben
• Houses Of Parliament
• Westminster Abbey
• Finishing on Whitehall

We are not looking for top marathon athletes -- just a few weeks of gentle training should ensure that you meet the challenge!
