They very kindly invited us to give a presentation on the work of the Nelson Mandela Children's Fund (UK), and raise much needed funds by wearing their own clothes for the day to school. The school is also planning a South African themed day later this term.

After the presentation there were some discussions on the subject of children's rights and how many countries around the world are failing to meet the Convention of Child Rights signed in 1990.

All the children in Years 3, 4 and 5 were given the opportunity to design posters to show people how important children's rights are and why.
