From 11am to 4pm the museum hosted a celebration of South Africa and Nelson Mandela's legacy with music, dance, talks and storytelling.

Nelson Mandela Day honours the sacrifice and legacy of Nelson Mandela and asks everyone to remember the 67 years that he committed to the struggle in South Africa by giving 67 minutes of their time to volunteer and make a difference in their community.

Over 200 visitors heeded the call and registerd as volunteers for NMCF UK which is fantastic!
