We are delighted to present the latest edition of our newsletter Sakha Ikusasa. Highlights of 2010 included the launch of the Champion for Children programme in the run up to the World Cup and a visit from Hollywood actor John Travolta. NMCF also celebrated 15 years of work with a number of partners in its "It takes a Village to Raise a Child" event in honour of Mr Mandela's birthday.
Our new 5 year strategy continues to build relationships with key community partners to ensure that the protection of vulnerable children.
The success of the Teddy Bear Clinic illustrates how working together with the criminal justice system in Gauteng helped to both support the victims of abuse and prevent young offenders from becoming serial offenders.
