Nelson Mandela Children's Fund UK is thrilled to have been part of this year's Big Give Christmas Challenge 2011 which began on Monday December 5th at 10am.
During this week every donation that was made by credit card on The Big Give website was doubled by a generous corporate sponsor - the magazine publisher Candis.
We were aiming to fundraise for the Nelson Mandela Children's Hospital project - and in particular the building and equiping of a resuscitation area to stabilise the most critically ill children on arrival at the hospital.
We are enormously grateful to our supporters who really got behind this great initiative and helped us to raise £85,000 for the Nelson Mandela Children's Hospital.
