Supporter Toby Younger has completed the Dakar Rally - a huge test of endurance and commitment - well done Toby! Inspired by his experiences of working and teaching in South Africa and a desire to do more to help, motor bike enthusiast Toby decided to raise funds for for NMCF UK whilst undertaking the 2 week rally.
Travelling a total of 9,000km Toby was on a bike for 10 - 12 hours a day for 2 weeks tackling a gruelling off road mountain and desert course. The Dakar Rally no longer takes place in the deserts of Africa - it now goes from Argentina through the Andes to Chile and ends in Peru - so the participants saw some fantastic scenery in addition to the very challenging terrain!
